Cimorq is an ancient Persian mythological bird that symbolizes wisdom, enlightenment, and power. It was Cimorq that brought baby Rostam (the Persian Hercules) to his father, Zal. Whenever Cimorq stretched its wings, the sun was eclipsed and the Earth turned dark. The wood for this statue is especially dense.
