From remembrance of a poem by the thirteenth-century Persian poet-philosopher, Saadi, which begins: ‘A night I remember my eyes wouldn’t sleep, I heard the moth telling the candle….’ This is the first of the Flicker bronze variations. It is a gentle, elegant candle, with an interplay of texture and color: cool, satiny bronze; warm, richly red-grained wood; and creamy, cool onyx.
